The collection is  inspired from a place in Australia. It celebrates HAND-PAINTED BATIK TEXTILES incorporated with the technique of resist textile.

Collectively four shades are  intermix in one metre of fabric.

Where each shade reflects the nature of four important component. 

Of mother earth: OCEAN, MOUNTAINS, DESERTS and FOREST.

The  message behind this collection “Save mother earth” – as global warming is rising, nature is losing its shades day by day.

 The apparels in a way tries to create awareness, how four colours in one meter of fabric create an awareness 

and  how four colours in one meter of the fabric looks beautiful.  When all the shades come together. 

 As humans we should try to  preserve and safeguard nature. With a consciousness,  how beautiful it would look once again just as this textile-print vibrant but united.

Deserts are the finest example of their uniqueness and diverse ecosystems on earth.

Desert covers 39% of the earth’s land surface area. It provides home to animals &
plants, being a good source of minerals, known for a unique adventure, they are
helping to prevent erosion, playing a key role in ecological studies and possessing
archaeological sources and essential for energy production. In ancient Indian literature
(Vedas) dessert is signified as providing ‘development opportunities.

Ocean embraces incredible biodiversity as well as covering 70% of the earth’s 

 surface and contains 97% of salty water.
Supporting the world’s economy, feeding food and generating oxygen at the same time helps to regulate the climate
globally. In ancient Indian literature (Vedas) ocean is signified as a ‘source of wealth’.

Forest prevails in productivity of science and protectivity of practice, 

covering 31% of the earth’s surface area.  The role of forest plays a diverse role and takes care of an individual’s basic needs. Cleaning the air, and releasing oxygen, to cooling the hot temperature, producing food and offering shelter. In ancient Indian literature (Vedas) forest is signified as the ‘treasure for the next generation’.

Mountains are not only home to a variety of flora and fauna but it occupies one-fifth of the earth’s

landscape and is home to 17% of world’s population. It generates hydroelectricity, being an important source of minerals, the storehouse of water, affecting the climate of surrounding areas, promotes tourism and irrigation at the same time being political frontiers. Mountain is God-given physical features. In ancient Indian literature (Vedas) mountain is signified as the ‘source of strength’.

TEXTILE NOTE:

The collection celebrates the skill of hand-painted Batik resist printing technique.
Fabric which is used has a very fine thread of hand-woven cotton and silk interwoven. In a way it makes the beautiful fabric so elegant. It has a history of 5000 years old weaving techniques.
